Bermhardt/Miller Home of Karen & Stan McConnell



The Bernhardt/Miller house was built circa 1845 by Michael George Heilig. JC Bernhardt purchased the house in 1886. Karen is the great granddaughter of JC Bernhardt. Karen's grandfather and mother were raised in the home. The home was restored to its present condition in 1998.

Karen, Janet and Ann have been visiting museums, book clubs, garden clubs and Women's groups to share information gleaned from the Journal of Sarah Frew Davidson.
